Getting Started with the Bot
Connecting to the PayMe Telegram bot takes about two minutes.
Step 1 — Get your invite link
Ask your admin or PM for an invite link. It looks like:
https://app.yourdomain.com/invite/abc123xyzOpen it in a browser while logged out of PayMe (or in an incognito window). You'll be asked to confirm your identity, then redirected to Telegram.
If you're already onboarded and just need to reconnect, ask your admin for a new invite link from Settings → Integrations → Telegram.
Step 2 — Open the bot in Telegram
The invite link opens the bot directly in Telegram (on mobile or desktop). Tap Start in Telegram to begin the connection.
The bot will confirm your account is linked:
👋 Ciao [Name]! Il tuo account PayMe è collegato. Sono qui per aiutarti con task, timer e ore.
Scrivi "ciao" per iniziare, oppure chiedimi qualcosa!
Step 3 — Send your first message
Just write "ciao" or "hello". The bot will introduce itself, show your current status (tasks, active timer if any), and offer a quick summary of what it can do.
Getting a web login link
If you're on mobile and need to open the web app without typing your password, ask the bot:
"mandami il link per il login"
The bot replies with a one-time magic link valid for 5 minutes. Tap it to log in directly to /tasks.
Troubleshooting
"Account not found" — Your Telegram account isn't linked to any PayMe member. Ask your admin to re-send an invite link.
Bot doesn't respond — Try typing /start. If still nothing, check with your admin that the bot is running.
Wrong account linked — Ask your admin to unlink and re-send an invite link from Settings → Integrations → Telegram.
