PayMe Guide

Streaks & Motivation

Daily streaks, milestones, celebrations, team streaks, and the batch log for catching up on missed days.

Streaks & Motivation

PayMe tracks your daily tracking consistency and turns it into visible momentum. The goal isn't gamification for its own sake — it's making the honest habit of logging time feel rewarding.

Daily streaks

A streak counts consecutive workdays where you logged at least one time entry. Weekends and approved leave days don't break streaks — only workdays with zero logged time do.

Your current streak appears on the home screen and in the Telegram morning briefing.

Milestones

At specific streak thresholds, PayMe shows a milestone celebration:

MilestoneTrigger
First week5 consecutive days
Two weeks10 consecutive days
One month20 consecutive days
Quarter60 consecutive days

Milestones are personal — only you see them. They appear as a brief animation on the home screen and a Telegram message.

Celebrations

Beyond streaks, PayMe celebrates meaningful work events:

  • Task completed — a brief "done" animation when marking a task complete
  • All tasks done for today — a "clear day" celebration
  • Project completed — confetti when the last task on a project is marked done
  • Personal best — when you beat your longest streak

Celebrations are lightweight and dismissible. They never block your workflow.

Team streaks

If enabled by the PM, the team page shows a collective streak — consecutive workdays where every active member logged at least one entry. Team streaks reset if any member misses a day.

Team streak milestones appear in the team channel (Telegram group) as a shared celebration.

Team streaks are opt-in. PMs enable them from the team settings page. Members with approved leave are excluded from the daily check.

Batch log ("I forgot to track")

Missed a few days? The batch log lets you catch up without entering one entry at a time.

  1. Open Quick log → Batch mode (or tell the bot "ho dimenticato di tracciare")
  2. PayMe shows each missed workday with your agenda for that day
  3. For each day, confirm the suggested entries or adjust durations
  4. Submit all at once

Batch log preserves your streak for past days — if you fill in the gaps before your next workday, the streak stays unbroken.

Batch log only covers the last 7 workdays. Older gaps require manual entries one by one.
