Saved Reports
Save filtered report views, share them via link, and optionally password-protect them.
Saved Reports
Saved reports let you bookmark a filtered view of any report and share it — with clients, stakeholders, or your team — via a permanent link.
Types
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
dynamic | Re-runs the query on every view; always shows current data |
static | Snapshot taken at save time; data is frozen |
Use dynamic for internal dashboards. Use static for client deliverables where you want the data locked to a specific date.
Creating a saved report
- Set up a report with the filters you want (date range, project, members, etc.).
- Click Save report.
- Name it and optionally add a description.
- Choose
dynamicorstatic. - Optionally add branding (title, subtitle, logo, accent colour, footer).
- Click Save.
Sharing
After saving, toggle Share to publish a report. Sharing generates a random
cryptographic token server-side and the public link becomes:
/reports/shared/{token}
- Only reports with sharing explicitly enabled are publicly reachable. A saved report without sharing is never public, and its slug is not a valid share link.
- Re-enabling sharing rotates the token, which invalidates the previous link.
- Password protection: set a password to require it before viewing. The password is hashed (bcrypt) before storage and never returned by any endpoint.
- Revoke: toggling sharing off clears the token and the password hash immediately; old links stop working.
Branding options
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
title | Override the default report title |
subtitle | Subtitle shown below the title |
logoUrl | URL of a logo image |
accentColor | Hex colour for highlights |
footer | Footer text (e.g. "Prepared for ACME Corp") |
Managing saved reports
Go to Reports → Saved to see all saved reports, edit branding, toggle sharing, or delete. The createdBy field tracks who made each report.
