Scope Change
The client adds work to a running project. Evaluate impact, add budget if needed, and handle scope creep.
The client adds work to a running project
Check budget impact first
Via Telegram: budget health for [project name] — shows remaining hours, burn rate, and projected completion.
Via web: Project → Budget tab.
If remaining hours can absorb the new scope, proceed. If not, add budget first.
Add budget if needed
Edit the affected period's budget, update the allocation, and pair with a FiC quote amendment if billable.
Create tasks for the new work
Add tasks with estimates and deadlines. If urgent, set the due mode to hard. The planner picks them up automatically.
Scope creep detection
After task creation, PayMe checks whether total task estimates now exceed the allocation budget. If so, a warning appears:
- PM gets a Telegram notification with the overage amount.
- The project card shows a scope chip.
The warning doesn't block anything — it's a nudge to keep the budget in sync with reality.
Reassess capacity
Use "Who can help?" via Telegram to check if existing members can absorb the work. If not: extend the deadline, add a member, or defer lower-priority tasks.
