Find Capacity

You need someone with free hours this week. How to find them and simulate the assignment.

You need to find who has capacity

Ask the Telegram bot

"Who can help with 8 hours of dev this week?"

The bot checks every member's capacity, function, and leaves, then responds with a ranked list:

This week's dev capacity:
1. Marco — 11h free (42% loaded)
2. Sara — 6h free (73% loaded)
3. Luca — 4h free (83% loaded)

Marco has the most room. Want me to simulate assigning 8h to him?

Simulate before committing

"Simulate assigning 8h of homepage work to Marco"

The simulation shows what Marco's week looks like with the new task, whether any tasks would get pushed, and whether any deadlines are at risk. Nothing changes — it's a preview.

If it looks good, say "Assign it". If not, try another member or split the work.

Via the web

Go to Team → Capacity View. The calendar shows each member's load by day. Click on a free slot to start creating an allocation.

If nobody has capacity

Options: spread the work across multiple people, push to next week, or remove lower-priority tasks to free up space.
