Settings
Organisation configuration, work schedule profiles, and project policies.
Settings
Organisation and integration settings are persisted in protected server-side PostgreSQL configuration. Empty secret fields keep their current value; the UI only displays masked keys.
Operational integration records also stay server-side in PostgreSQL: Gmail triage rows are live queue/deduplication state, Fatture in Cloud rows are a bounded current-document cache, and the Paymo tables are a frozen historical archive used by cross-system reports. PayMe's append-heavy product facts remain in ClickHouse; planning periods and allocations are CH-only while task period_id/allocation_id values remain stable cross-plane identifiers.
Organisation
Settings → Organisation stores org-wide configuration.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Organisation name | Shown in reports and notifications |
| Default timezone | IANA timezone (e.g. Europe/Rome) |
| Completed project policy | allow_logging or lock_logging |
| Leave approver role | admin, admin_pm, or none |
Leave Approval
Settings → General → Leave Approval controls who can approve leave requests.
| Setting | Behaviour |
|---|---|
| Admin only (default) | Only administrators can approve/reject |
| Admin + PM | Administrators and project managers can both approve |
| No approval needed | All leaves are recorded immediately — no pending state |
Per-type auto-approval can be toggled independently (e.g. sick leave auto-approved, vacation requires approval). When an approver creates leave on behalf of a member, it's auto-approved regardless.
Work Schedules
Settings → Work Schedules manages reusable schedule profiles.
Each profile defines the standard workday for members assigned to it. Create multiple profiles for different teams or contract types:
Full-time (9–18)— standard office hoursPart-time (9–13)— mornings onlyRemote US East— shifted hours
See Work Schedules for field details.
Notification Settings
Settings → Messages controls global notification defaults for the whole organisation. Admins can toggle each notification type on/off — when a type is off globally, no member receives it.
Account → Notifications lets each member control their own preferences. Members can opt out of specific notification types and set personal quiet hours. See Notifications for the full list of toggles.
Resolution: effective = globalSetting AND memberPref AND NOT inQuietHours.
