Creating a member
Go to Settings → Members → Add member:
- Enter name and email address.
- Select a role:
member,pm, oradmin. - Assign default functions (disciplines) — these pre-select when creating allocations.
- Set price per hour — used in profitability and cost reports.
- Set weekly hours and days per week (or use a schedule profile).
- Click Create.
The member receives an email invitation. Until they log in, their account is inactive.
Roles
| Role | Description |
|---|---|
member | Can view own projects, create tasks, log time, use Telegram bot |
pm | All member abilities + create/edit projects, view all reports, use PM Telegram tools |
admin | All PM abilities + manage members, approve projects, configure settings |
Change roles from Team → Manage. Role changes are checked against the saved server response. Editing other profile fields leaves the role unchanged unless you explicitly select a new one. Only admins can assign admin.
Default functions
A member's defaultFunctions list controls which disciplines they appear in when creating allocations. A developer might have ["dev", "devops"]; a designer might have ["design", "ux"].
Members can be allocated to any function regardless of defaults — defaults just improve the UX.
Work schedule
Assign a schedule profile via scheduleId. Override specific fields (start/end hours, break, work days, per-day hours) on the member record without changing the shared profile.
See Work Schedules for details.
Deactivating a member
Toggle Active off on the member's settings page. Deactivated members:
- Cannot log in
- Do not appear in allocation pickers or workload views
- Their historical data (entries, tasks) is preserved
- Active timers are automatically stopped
To re-activate, toggle Active back on.
Telegram linking
Members link their Telegram account via an invite link from Settings → Integrations → Telegram. Once linked, telegramChatId is populated and they start receiving scheduled messages.
Admins can see and unlink Telegram accounts from the member settings page.
